When German para-sprinter Johannes Floors was fitted with his first pair of running prosthetics at the age of 18, it was the first time he'd run since his amputation at 16. This new beginning was a blank canvas that opened up new possibilities and allowed him to first experience something he hadn’t realized was missing for the first sixteen years of his life.
Although curiosity and determination drove Johannes to master the basics, it’s meticulously engineered training, discipline and his desire to create an impact that has made him into the world-class para-sprinter he is today.
Now, Johannes wants to help change perceptions of prosthetics, drive discussion across the Paralympic community and beyond, and help keep the next generation on track, while he navigates the road ahead.
