“Stop Child Abuse”

Lets raise our hands and stop child abuse. Everyone had lives, and feelings and recently everyday we read on papers, we can see so many abuses occurred. Try to think of this, if you are being abused how would it feal and what are the pains. Even, sometimes accidents like we accidently injured ourself with small accidents like our hand touches hot plates and all and we feels the pain never ending and will cry out.
I could not imagine how it feels for a child abuse.

Child abuse includes:

- Neglect: where the responsible adult fails to provide adequately for various needs, including physical (failure to provide adequate food, clothing, or hygiene), emotional (failure to provide nurturing or affection), educational (failure to enroll a child in school), or medical (failure to medicate the child or take him or her to the doctor).

-Physical abuse includes the physical aggression directed at a child by an adult. It can involve striking, kicking, shoving, slapping, burning, bruising, pulling ears or hair, choking or shaking a child.

- Child sexual abuse is where an adult or older adolescent abuses a child for sexual stimulation

- Psychological/emotional abuse include name-calling, ridicule, degradation, destruction of personal belongings, torture or destruction of a pet, excessive criticism, inappropriate or excessive demands, withholding communication, and routine labeling or humiliation

- A movie from UNICEF on Child Abuse-

I would not like to see any of child abuse happening as I can see the most will be physical abuse where you can see them anytime any where even in the mall which let me remember an accident I saw past few years in one of the bookstore in Penang. The sons had been crying all the way as before that the child got a big slap from the dad as the bookshop worker said the child had take off some sticker and paste to the book and they need to pay for a RM 5.00 book.

While paying, the father had been nagging and scolding the son and put the son of the table while paying the book. The child keep crying and the father handle the child up and throw the son on the floor with the book. I was so pissed off with the attiude and hope people are aware and stop abusing the children as they are the future of the WORLD

I’m doing this in conjunction with Nuffnang contest on Stop Child Abuse Contest, click here for more info.
