KAO Malaysia’s “Skin Protection, Life Perfection” Campaign Champions Lifelong Skin Health Starting from Youth

In a joint initiative aimed at elevating skincare awareness among Malaysians, KAO Malaysia, in collaboration with Watsons, has officially launched the “Skin Protection, Life Perfection” campaign. The initiative seeks to position daily skin protection not merely as a beauty ritual but as a lifelong investment in health, confidence, and well-being.




At the heart of the campaign is a mission to cultivate a culture of proactive skincare. By combining the scientifically backed Bioré skincare solutions with Watsons’ extensive reach and rewards ecosystem, the campaign introduces a new level of accessibility and engagement for Malaysian consumers. A key highlight is a 1% sales donation drive, which will channel proceeds into local dermatological research to advance knowledge and practices around skin protection.

To kick off the campaign, a launch event was held featuring expert presentations that underscored the scientific importance of skin health. Associate Professor ChM. Dr. Noraini from Universiti Malaya delivered a keynote address titled “The Science Behind Effective Skincare Ingredients: Why Formulations Matter?”, highlighting how the right products can influence long-term dermatological health.


A live skincare regimen demonstration followed, presented by Dr. Lim Ing Kien from Ventamin. Tailored to suit different age groups, the session emphasized the importance of age-appropriate skincare routines and the preventive benefits of daily protection — especially against Malaysia’s high UV exposure, humidity, and airborne pollutants.

The campaign showcases Bioré’s “Cleanse. Protect.” skincare philosophy, offering gentle yet high-performance UV-blocking solutions that build skin resilience over time. From hydrating mists to tone-correcting sunscreens, the range is designed to encourage Malaysians to protect their skin today, for a more confident tomorrow.

Kao Malaysia Highlights the Importance of a Local Touch in Pursuing Brand Sustainability Goals

 


KAO Malaysia marked its inaugural participation at the eighth Sustainable Brands Conference by sharing its Kao Kirei Lifestyle corporate philosophy as well as plans for sustainability and the empowerment of women in Malaysia. The conference's theme this year was "Regenerating Local" with renowned experts from all over the world weighing in on the meaning of "local" from a variety of viewpoints and touching on how brands define regeneration. For the first time, this conference also included hands-on workshops in addition to the regular plenary and panel sessions.


For their session, Ms. Tan Poh Ling, Vice President, Marketing, Kao Malaysia, shared Kao Malaysia's efforts and initiatives to empower and support women, which have long taken root within local communities in Malaysia. Laurier has been a friend to many young Malaysian girls since 1994, and its "Yakinlah Menjadi Remaja" program, which supports and educates young girls about menstrual hygiene, has reached more than two million students in 8,000 schools.



“It was truly an honor for me to represent Kao at the Sustainable Brands Conference. As marketers, I firmly believe that we have a responsibility to integrate sustainable angles into our brand strategies. And the most impactful way in which to do that is by tackling issues that are most relevant to the communities in which we live and work,” Tan Poh Ling said.

Dubbed the ‘Laurier School of Confidence’, this initiative aims to not only instill confidence amongst young women but also reward eligible students with RM1,500 in the form of a National Education Savings Scheme (Simpan SSPN) account.

I had finally try the mask from Skin Food which is the Pepper mint Mask. The mask was great. It is actually the peel off mask which peel off mask is use for getting rid of the dead skin and dirt and after using that mask I feel really refresh from it.

Price wise is still considerable ok. Is not as expensive as well

This Honey Dew Balm I bought fr RM 26.50 at the Skin Food is simply nice to use.. The Balm is not that oily and most of all the smell is great .. when u apply on your skin, u might felt is very oily.. a few minutes later. ur hand turn smooth and the oily feel no longer there.. and it is very suitable to be used in aircond room

i had been using so many types of creams to make sure smooth hands till i found this one.. which is the Elianto Harmonic Green Tea Lotion. This lotion is really creamy and not too sticky when using it. Love dem a lot and de smell is nice too.. The price is kinda reasonable which is about RM 12- RM 13 for that .. nice smell

Elianto.. lip gloss

Elianto’s makeup is very cheap, going from RM5 per item! But their body care range is more expensive than Watson’s. I had purchase the lip gloss from Elianto.. and it is nice to use..WHy I love it, one of the reason is nice to use and able mosturize my lips and most important the color not sharp.. thats wat i love




Thats it is.. and it real lasting as well.. cheap and nice.. Is about RM 15 fr this. :)

Illuminating Arbutin Essence Mask by Elianto

- Illuminating Arbutin Essence Mask-

I've always on the look out for sheet mask that does their job well and does not feel greasy or oily after application and this mask that I'm going to review fits my requirement. :D

According to the website, it is said to help to clarify uneven skin tone and lighten spots, fine lines leaving skin smoother, fairer and younger looking.

The mask isn't too big and neither it is too small for my face, fits just nicely. The scent is quite light, so I'm quite alright with it. Essence wise is just enough, no dripping or any sloppiness I've experienced with other sheet mask (will write a review about it later), and the best part is that you can place a cotton pad inside the mask's package and you can use it on your neck as a neck mask. :P

After application, skin is brighter and smoother with only a slight stickiness is felt after application. Usually I tend not to apply any moisturizer after using sheet mask as it will feel very greasy and oily, but I decided to give another try and boy was I suprised!

The essence and moisturizer sinks into the skin very quickly. Although there was a slight stickiness upon application, the stickiness dissappears and the skin feels smooth and well moisturize but it doesn't feel greasy or oily.

I think this is a good mask for days when you need an extra boost before attending important events or wanting to look at your best for those special days :P

This is a keeper till I find something else better! :D
