Dining In Kepong : Pinto Noodles

Recently, while strolling around the bustling area of Kepong, we stumbled upon a charming little restaurant named PintoNoodles.

With its simple yet inviting decor adorned with plants, the restaurant offered a perfect setting for a relaxed dining experience. Specializing in Chiang Mai delicacies, PintoNoodles promises an authentic taste of Northern Thailand in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.

Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor was minimalist, allowing the focus to be on the delightful food. As we settled into our seats, we were handed the menu, which featured a wide array of Thai delicacies. Besides the delectable food, PintoNoodles also offers a selection of Thai products, such as noodles and snacks, that you can purchase to enjoy at home.

The menu at PintoNoodles is predominantly noodle-centric, showcasing dishes like boat noodles, Tom Yum noodles, fried Kuey Teow, Khao Soi, and Kuey Chap, with prices ranging from RM10.90 to RM17.90. These dishes capture the essence of Thai street food, bringing bold flavors and comforting warmth to the table.

For those who prefer rice dishes, there is no shortage of options. The menu includes favorites such as Pineapple Fried Rice, Braised Pork Knuckle Rice, and Poached Chicken Rice. One-dish rice meals, like Chili Squid with Rice, Thai Basil Chicken/Pork/Squid with Rice, and Green Curry Chicken/Prawn with Rice, are available at very affordable prices, ranging from RM12.90 to RM16.90.

This time, we decided to try their signature Braised Pork Rice. The dish did not disappoint. The braised pork was cooked to perfection, tender and moist, with a depth of flavor that was simply irresistible. It was a hearty and satisfying meal, perfect for a comfort food craving.

We also tried their Tomyam Noodles. The tomyam noodles are not too bad but does not surprise us though. The soup is good but ingredients is not much.
