Valen Hsu - Latitude 66 Degrees (北緯66度 (豪華影音版))

Valen Hsu starts anew with her first full-length album in three years! For fans who have already waited too long to hear Valen's sweet voice, Latitude 66 Degrees comes as the perfect topping for the holiday season. Valen dabbles in a wide variety of musical genres, from jazz and folk to indie pop and soft rock, bringing new surprises in her signature voice. Album production is top-notch with a wintry visual theme tying the songs together. Title track Latitude 66 Degrees (Track 10) seems to take listeners to the arctic with its snowy atmosphere and imagery.
Valen's album track list reveals a who's who line-up of Taiwan's biggest songwriters - "Handwritten Love" (Track 3) by Jay Chou and Vincent Fang, "Loving Animal" (Track 5) by Sodagreen's Qing Feng, "Happy Market" (Track 6) by Sandee Chan, "Absolutely Won't Say I Love You" (Track 4) by Chen Hsiao Hsia and Hsu Chang Te. There's also "Man and Woman" (Track 2), a duet with Mainland singer Amguulan, written and composed by Kenji Wu. Valen herself actively participated in the creative process as well, and her self-composed, self-penned "Return After the Fireworks" (Track 1) is one of the many highlights of the album.

The Deluxe Edition comes with a DVD containing five music videos.
